Shanghai table is shown in Curly Maple and rescued East Indian Rosewood. Hand crafted from one large plank of Curly Maple wood, the reason there is so much visual interest to this table is because of the way the wavy grain reflects light. As with most of my pieces, I used a clear finish to allow the natural beauty of the wood take center stage.
East Indian Rosewood is unavailable now; Shanghai was hand crafted with wood that I rescued a number of years ago.
