Sweet Revenge
Sweet Revenge coffee table emerges in rescued Red Oak wood using a creative traditional joinery technique and ebonized finish. The sweet part is the way individual parts come together to create one monolithic form that utilizes both positive and negative space giving the piece a sense of stability and a calmness that is very pleasing.
The leg grows in size as it falls from the top, which is uncommon for most table legs. However with the larger mass at the bottom contributes to the overall appearance of stability. As the viewer’s eye explores the table it makes subtle discoveries such as the detailed carving at the bottom.
